Bio

Ben Dean is an interdisciplinary artist working in video, film, installation, and sculpture. He has exhibited in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Netherlands. His most recent solo exhibition, "Account," opened the Pomona College Museum of Art in November 2008. Dean studied at the Cooper Union, received his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and holds an MFA degree from Stanford University. From 2000-2004, Dean developed and taught new media courses in the department of Art and Art History at Stanford University, where he was interim director of the Stanford University Digital Art Center. Dean currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
